Yup, I backed out there as well. I can actually fully believe that the claim holds value as only Weah has won it from memory, but not in the case of Mendy as he's woeful in my humble.

I used to think Mendy was crap too, but he's been excellent since the back end of last season. Wouldn't say he's the best in the world but definitely worthy of being in the top 10

Chelsea fans accusing someone of racism. I wonder if they'd allow Mendy on a train with them? Probably the right result as Donnarumma was player of the tournament at the Euros. Mendy is mainly there because Chelsea won the champions league.

I'd definitely take Emi over any of the keepers ranked above him bar Donnarumma and Oblak. Based on the year he's had he probably deserved to be ranked higher but I imagine playing for us hasn't helped him in that regard.
