Very disappointing if that’s the case. No extra help on the wing or up top. Hope this won’t come back to bite us in the arse, but kinda feel we should have got something tied up before now if it was going to come down to the wire. I thought we might get one or two in up top, to get none is a real kick in the gonads.
 
Sounded like it would have been a great signing. A shame, but more opportunity to develop the players we actually own.
 
Consolidation season this year perchance, and nothing wrong with that.

It would be nice to think that all these fallen giants and bank rolled clubs can't sustain it year after year and there may be sense in targeting a season when there are less sharks in a feeding frenzy.
 
Tricky window, assuming that's it. Not quite gone to plan knowing we had Eyoma + 2 lined up a week or two ago, and have generally just traded left backs today. Hopefully everyone is fit and firing pretty quickly!

Adelakun would have probably been the one he replaced. MA said Draper should be a first team player soon so he can't be that far off either. I'm sure he's nowhere near the current capabilities of the Swansea boy but at least he's ours.
