Pompey v Morecambe - FOOTBALL TALK!!

good idea Penton - shrimpers are southend tho, shrimps are morecambe :17:

lets face it, not being a big head or anything or thinking we are more than we are we are a 'big club' at this level and you would think be a 'want to visit' ground for some, especially if we have not met before - i do not think we have, have we?

4 seemed crazy, they will not bring many but i would hope it was three figures. do worry it might not be as even last season some struggled for that, so will go 69!

I didn't say what the prize was did I?....rug will buy the winner and all his distant family a drink of their choice in the Rutland ;-)

I've rung ahead & asked the Rutland to get in a couple of cases of champagne. Wouldn't want Rug's act of generosity ruined by a lack of suitable booze.

Having now seen that there will be 2 whole mini buses of fans turning up and knowing the number at Wycombe I am going to join in with 123

By the way, I hope everyone noticed (and I'm sure they did) what must clearly be the signing of the summer at the Rutland :14:

Why? Had you been somewhere Sneakay?! :91:

113??? Did they count their coats and flags as well?....I wish the same people would count my bank balance! ;-)

How did that add up to 113?

As for gangs waiting for Pompey, I'm imagining they will be a very small gang!!

Shame you missed the game Mart, but the match was actually a good one this time.

i tried counting near kick off and got to 65?!

was it really 100+...

when the money is paid it is up to the individual what they do isnt it Mart (genuinely mean that, not being sarcy or anything) but would say that the 1st half was really good and really enjoyed that.

113 was the figure given by the Pompey official site. I don't think there was enough to fill one coach, actual one minibus full.

Well lets just hope the same people are doing our accounts at the end of the fiscal year...

How did the players perform against Morecambe on Saturday, in your opinion? Rate them out of 10 if you would.

Ok guys, lets try something a little different!

Websites like this thrive on audience participation, without this what have you go really?

A way of trying to get this going will be to ask you, the Vital Pompey membership, to put forward your views on the player performances following each game.

Instead of running a front-page poll, we are looking for you to rate the players (probably for home games is best) performances – starting with how they performed in the 3-0 win over Morecambe.

Smith
Moutaouakil (66)
Devera
Bradley
Painter
Barcham
Padovani
Ferry (55)
Wallace
Connolly
Agyemang (77)
Sub – East (55)
Sub – Holmes (66)
Sub – Craddock (77)

So, fire away guys marks out of 10 for each if you would...
