Players going forward

Presumably Northern, given they were so long in administration, rattling up even more debts (wages at the very least), they still had income coming in throughout..... match days, and of course, TV money.

Our administrators have made it very very clear that faced with the current circumstances, it's vital that we get a sale ASAP.

We've no reason to believe that they're letting people go, and for the amounts that they are, if it wasn't absolutely essential.

They were losing more money a month than they were bringing in.

I would like to know why these clubs were all given extensions to pay creditors, whilst even though we have yet to miss a payment are being told to pay straight away.

If it is confirmed that the payments aren't withheld, then the money we are due is more than enough to cover until September without sales.

Another thing, there is an opportunity to apply for at least a 2 month secured loan from the PFA to pay wages, why have we not done this? This would have protected the club short term against cut price sales.

No idea mate ....................... though noting that they were only eventually docked 10 points, have other rules changed meaning that some of the options to which you refer aren't now available to us?

It's the same old thing again. There is a difference between Bolton and Macc or the others you mention and Latics.
They stink to high hell.

Thought admin was supposed to get the best deals for us is there any sell on clauses with these deals. Surely a new owner needs something left

"Us"?

Administrators are supposed to get the best for those who appointed them ...... ie Au Yeung. They're paying him the money when they're done.

All they're going to care about is money today ...... not in the future. However, with the input from JJ, maybe we have managed to squeeze in some of that kind of stuff.

Does anyone really trust these administration team after all was it the chinese that brought them in or am i wrong ?

Trust them? They're involved in administrations all the time. Just because they were appointed by Au Yeung doesn't make them dodgy in any way.

Plus they are trying to sell the club. to some one. Be nothing left

Last week they said Paul Cook would not be allowed to leave day after. Gone. They will milk it for all they can get out of it.

OF course they're trying to sell the club. That's their job. To get Au Yeung as much money as possible.

They've already said that they want to do that by keeping the 5 companies together. However, selling players brings in cash to cover the short term outgoings.

Well they are not doing a good job so far not a sign of a owner

Milk what John?

They've explained the logic re Cook going. We could have kept him, paying him a fortune in the meantime, and given his frame of mind, he might have been sacked come October any road.

Letting him go freed the club of a massive financial commitment.

As I've said elsewhere, why is everyone trying to apportion blame left right and sundry? It doesn't get rid of the hurt ................ it just creates more.

Bloody hell. We have 5 bidders who want us. As Northern said, Palace had to wait 7 months to find a buyer !

How long were Bolton in administration for?

Moaning about stuff just because we haven't been kept up to date with every single detail is futile.

Did they or did they not say Paul Cook was a asset Or did I read that

Did they or did they not say Paul Cook was a asset Or did I read that

He was both an asset, and a liability.

He was only an asset if someone else wanted him, and was willing to pay us compensation to cover the reminder of his contract (or of course, if he was winning us football matches).

As it turned out, they made a business decision ................... keeping him was in the short term at least, a very costly exercise. After that, there'd be no guarantee he'd have the team playing well come the new season. Come October, if results weren't great, you (and others) would have been calling for his head, and we'd have had to pay him off !!!

We all have our thoughts what’s going on with our beloved club. Ours are totally different.

Of course we do John, and it's fine that we do. There's no requirement for us all to agree.

However, if those thoughts are based on a false premise, or incorrect assumptions, or unsubstantiated rumours, etc, then it doesn't exactly make those thoughts a logical position.
