Pitch inspection Saturday

Released on Twitter 11:15 ?
20 mins can be difference between getting a train or making other decisions. The communication is excellent, the 'vehicle' choice is wrong
I am sure you are right.

Perhaps just give the club a smidgen of credit for an excellent response to a difficult situation.

It's easy to criticise everything....

...all those people capable of boarding a train but not looking at 2 web sites will just have to miss out.

Well done to the groundstaff for getting this game on. They have done their bit, now let’s hope that in about 5 hours time the boys will have done their bit and given Derby a very hard game.

Looking at the Met office website it appears the last time the temperature was freezing or below in Lincoln was 1000hrs on Thursday, so it has had 2 nights slightly above freezing and a lot of work put into the South Park Stand end.

On that basis, plus the positive updates from the club, I'm going to say reasonably optimistic.
As a heads up for everyone, temperature is measured at 1m above ground level. that is why ground frost point is +4 degrees celcius.

Edited to add, frosts usually occurr under high pressure when there is a temperature inversion and low down air is colder than higher up air
