Arteta is technically an ex Barca player, I wouldn’t be surprised if this happened to be honest. Barca is fucked financially and need to undergo the biggest rebuild in their history. This means they won’t be winning anything for quite a while. They might see Arteta as the man for this, no top manager will be interested in this sort of task.
