I think if you look at the world through the eyes of a grifter and fraudster (which the likes of Trump and Farage are) you begin to see how this might play out. He’ll do everything he can to sabotage a peaceful handover, whilst also looking to cover his own and his families future. It might sound twee and a little bit trite these days but there isn’t much thought for the principle of public service is there?
