Now I’ve watched the game live and on TV one thing JFM got correct on Sky was the difference between Wyke & Hopper. Obviously has worked for Wyke over the season in the number of goals but JFM identified he was waiting for someone to provide the service to him while Hopper was hunting the ball down himself. This also manifested itself in next to no pressure put on us playing out from the back. I think this has been an Achilles heel for us so happy for Sunderland to continue in the same vane on Saturday.

No, that is incorrect. The Player Essentials guide makes it clear that yellow card accumulations are concluded at the end of the regular season prior to the play-offs.

Some people confuse having the lion's share of possession with controlling the game when it is actually the other team in control by allowing a pedestrian ineffective team to have the ball. As in this case.

OK! Who swore at The Bank during the game?. The Sky commentators apologised during the first half if anybody had heard some naughty language!.

Heard it quite clearly at the time on TV but didn’t take a whole lot of notice as most footballers swear during games. Pretty sure it was a Sunderland player when they were disagreeing with a decision
