Match Thread: Fleetwood Town v Lincoln City

Very timely three points, good for the confidence. Sounded like a better first half and a return of character in the second. It's a foundation to work from and we will need to against stronger teams to come. A good end to an unsettling week for the club.

First ever win at Fleetwood.

12 different players have now scored for us this season.

And about time too, they've been a bogey team for us for too long. Is that a record number of different scorers? Must be well up there, certainly for this stage of the campaign.

Up to 12th in the as is positionings. 4 points off the play offs
2 games in hand over 6th place Stevenage as well

FT. Superb all round performance- more graft and fight second half but it comes down to the fact that every player fought and showed tremendous courage. I said after the last game they needed to bust a gut to win the ball and try and get into the box and find each other better and that’s exactly what they did. You could tell how committed they were by the fact virtually every player was virtually on their knees at the end. Well played Imps - Ethan Hamilton MoM. Never gave up and played some superb passes. 👏👏

Mr Hortin has just given a bizarre set of results - those were the scores with at least 20 minutes to go.

We’re still at a stage in the season where points accumulation is the main thing.

The performances will come.

Having said that, we were very good anyway, especially in the first half.

There was definitely a palpable change in the players and their attitudes. A lot of high-fives and encouragement.

When we kept it on the floor, which was far more often than in the last 6-8 games, we looked excellent.

As always in games like that, just get the 3 points and fuck off.

Well done, Imps!

Exactly. For all that has gone on we are for example, same games and points as the mighty Derby County.
