January moves?

FROM TEAMTALK

Championship side Wigan are leading the chase to land Tottenham defender Cameron Carter-Vickers, we can reveal.

The USA international is currently on-loan at Wigan’s Championship rivals Swansea City – but Spurs are ready to recall him and move him on.
A number of clubs have expressed an interest, but it is understood that Wigan are looking to seal a deal.

Carter-Vickers, who joined Tottenham’s academy as an 11-year-old, has never made a Premier League appearance for the club and has previously been loaned out to Sheffield United and Ipswich.

The 21-year-old, who has made won seven caps for the USA, has made two FA Cup and two League Cup appearances during his time in north London.

Swansea just had an injury at centre half in their last game and Cameron Vickers came on and did well. He will be starting every week now so I suspect our chances of getting him recalled and sent to us have drastically decreased. Shame he is meant to be good.

Nixon says rejected Fox offer was 200k. Other news sources say Fox wants to come and could be done this week but not sure if they are reliable.

200k for a 32 year old! I despair at our recruitment. Like we enjoy pissing money down the drain. F**k this club’s recruitment!

Deal for that vickers lad is off as he's staying at Swansea. Still in for fox and that Swedish lad for centre half. No news yet on a left back.

Are we in for a striker......not only are we leaking goals but we are having difficulty scoring too

Looking like these new owners dont have a bo bean, showing no intent in this window I fear its all going to go tits up in the not too distant future, asset strip everything and then bog off.

They may just be happy and satisfied we are not in the bottom three and six points from that relegation zone. Many fans seem to be content with that so the owners and board must be as they don't seem to be that bothered about us hovering just above that zone.

Never know IEC might sell for a small proffit near future but like you say IEC itself has no funds but some shareholders are worth a bob or two
Can see it now huge casino and a china town built on the land IEC own with gambling barges sailing up and down the canal from town centre to china town would make alot more than a football club but who knows what IEC have planned

Great imagination bicky lol

Nelson Oliveria to Reading - big statement of intent - great striker at this level and probably big wages. If they get him in i think they'll comfortably start to scrape out a few more wins to keep them safe.

will it be a busy deadline day again panic yet again

No need for it,
Ensure Grigg stays, get Powell signed, and use Naismith (who has been pretty decent lately to be fair) at left until Robinson is back fit.
We have a strong enough squad to stay up, we should save our money and use the summer window to offload and recruit for next season.

Two wins in the last fifteen games....I think not.
