Here we go!

It is racist because black smoke signifies a negative outcome perpetuating the image black negative, white positive. Minor but significant. Green and red would be more appropriate but sometimes tradition over rules subliminal messages. Finance sheets are ok though.

Personally I would like them to go back to the old method of hanging members of the Banking fraternity from Blackfriars bridge (remember Roberto Calvi?)when they have a message to get across.

So, you're saying that the new shadow Foreign Secretary is as thick as a whale omelette and shouldn't be near anything 'foreign' 'cos he 'doesn't know' about forrin stuff?

Not really Foreign is it, its Religious; isnt there some kind of distinction between Church and State?

Separation of powers and all that.

The last thing you would want is a family of inbred Germans heading up the Church and Parliament, oh!

Yesss. Because corruption in Government only started in 2010.
He did say 12+ and if you are going to hold the opposition to account for things they have or haven’t done then surely the same standard applies to the current Government. Or is it against the rules to hold a Tory Government to account?

I was of the belief I was a taxpayer

Silly me
Err yeah, I thnk you have a poor understandingof of how it works, are you Tory? . That particular tax is for the shit we share so unless Im on your flight, which I wouldnt be without full Hazmat it doesnt count

The Labour Party, under Starmer has slowly released the grip of the unelectable and has now got a shadow cabinet that can fight next election. They have finally realised they need to support the low paid and unemployed and ensure making Brexit work rather than fighting to stay in a redundant EU. It has taken him a while to release the grip of Corbyn, McD and mad Len to make them electable. Reeves is looking solid and Gove will be given a run for his money. Even Angela has toned down her rhetoric. The local parties are no more run by others and the Islington dinners no longer rule roost over the workers. Now for next election free of Brussels.
lol@Gove. Truly, its people like Gove, Hancock, Bojo n co that make me believe we should bring back bullying in schools big time :)

Yeah the minority were obviously ignorant and therefore their opinion doesn’t count.
well when it is this close then clearly both sides count and its imperative that its a cross party, cross society positve debate and plan is created so that everybody can move forward ino this next decade.
Its pretty much been the opposite from day one and therefore highighted our differences as people as negative ones as opposed to complimentary ones or whatever.

That "cake and eat it" mantra is really what we have all had to accept from the conservative party, nothing is being done anywhere for you or I whether you voted leave or not, Its just been one huge power and wealth grab opportunity

I disagree. Starmer has been slowly getting rid of the unelectable rabble and removing their power base. It isn’t completed but shadow cabinet and party can make policy without interference. Now they can build a shadow cabinet that can show the government how poor their concepts and performances are. Boris and co will be weighed down with past poor decisions and scrutiny will show them up in true light. As the Tories become less electable Labour becomes more electable. A socialist manifesto that isn’t anti business but also looks after the lower skilled, lower paid. A manifesto for jobs = a manifesto for growth. All without spending approval from Brussels and oversight.
amazing to think thats how it could have been,. I.e to realllly do something. I think that goes around in circles tho, in the sense that I feel Brexit happened to to the timing in many ways, people just desperately wanted change, it was pretty much what hppened first, corbyn or Brexit, those were the 2 offers on the table.

The front bench of the opposition is now littered with MPs who were trying to get the result of the EU referendum nulled/overturned/re-run, etc.

The public should not forget this when GE time rolls around again.

There are also boundary changes which come into effect in 2023, are predicted to hit Labour.
Millions thought it would never happen and didnt vote (i.e do i need to turn out and vote to decide whether breakfast should only be eaten after 10 am? no, that just stupid) and millions of us didnt get voting papers delivered to us in time to return the vote. Plus, I never once even saw a plan for what would happen after Brexit, all that was really said was take back control etc and be our own boss. Well thats all dandy, but I wanted to know what we would be bossing. Its like 3 year down the line and I still havent seen that plan, have you?

So irrespective of whether it should have been rerun etcm, it was 100% a farce, it was just what we have had since, division, left or right, stick to your ideals be they right or wrong. A sorry state of affairs and that should be recognised by both sides of the argument

Yesss. Because corruption in Government only started in 2010.
It just became blatant and open under the current regime who of course soon latched onto the fact they were the only game in town and would be forgiven anyhing by the flag wavers.

It isnt just financial corruption and cronies, its been a lack of accountability on many things, from fook ups in the nhs to grenfell to hostile environments through to covid, test n trace, irish border, illegal maneuvres in the houses of parliamnt, that had not happened before. So basically just a free reign

Err yeah, I thnk you have a poor understandingof of how it works, are you Tory? . That particular tax is for the shit we share so unless Im on your flight, which I wouldnt be without full Hazmat it doesnt count

Ah so it's private health care

and Buckingham Palace

I can't believe this is going to be our government for the next 7 years or whatever.

Its a one party nation

Designed by the centrists and those who spanked themselves over Starmer and also the Brexit vote

Doubt we will see them out for the next few especially now the boundary changes are coming in that will favour the Tories

Get used to it as we slide further into fascism - It was all so predictable from 2017 onwards.
