There is a lot of that about as well .
My sparky mate warned us about the freezer in the garage . Said we have to be careful about overloading the whole shooting match .

Lucky you have a sparky on tap. (or is that a plumber)

I spent the morning taking apart a steam mop which powered up made the usual noises but decided not to emit any steam (pretty fundamental problem that!) Cleaned out all that could be cleaned...(hard water in this neck of the woods) so feckin Arse fans get into the system (scum in case anyone is thick this Sunday)

Got it all back together again...powered up, motor whirring...no feckin steam.....BINNED!

Missus to decide what replacement she wants. Apparently she now wants one that uses steam & detergent as well....whatever the feck that is...another commodity to buy then.........steam on its own seemed ok to me ...ah well...may be she sabotaged the old one mmmmmm.

Keep well keep positive...well until tonights match gets under way....
 
Good Morning all. I'm back.
Been away from work since Christmas Eve on leave. I chose to stay away from social media forums and invest in time with my wife and children. Had a fantastic holiday up in Far North Queensland on the Barrier Reef. Extremely hot, humid and wet but such a great holiday. First day back at work today.

Firstly, my heart bleeds for those in the UK. Such a tragedy to see this virus running rampant and effecting nearly everyone's lives in one way or another.

I've not read all the posts from my VS family, but pray that Pompey, Walt, & NRD are all healing and trending in the right direction in terms of good health.
I also wish anyone who has medical issues a speedy recovery and those who are stressed due to the direct or indirect effects of this bastard virus, well please take care and speak to a friend.

I have missed each and every one of you and have thought of you all, very often indeed.

We've all mentioned this before, but this new world really does put things in perspective. I love Spurs no less, but really just laugh at our current form, without letting the performances get me down.

On a different note, I was lucky enough to sell my big black Holden Special Vehicles Grange, as prices have gone through the roof due to their rarity now. I doubled my money, but in reality could've got more for it. Bought a GT Mustang which is a hoot of a car. Already done some performance mods, but need to get to around 500Hp before I'll be happy.

Anyway, back to work. God knows what this year will bring. I wish i could say I was revitalized and refreshed after a 5 week break, but I'd be lying. Time to book our next holiday to give me something to look forward to.

Sparky on tap, jeez that's dangerous as bad as the two finger scenario, we met the sparky a number of years ago through Mrs PY's sickness n pain website, shortish story, sparkies missus contacted Mrs PY regards handling pain etc, it appears she had not, still not, been diagnosed with any particular ailment, even though she has a full metal cheek bone as her bone got ate away, they cannot explain why, anyway the sparkies wife introduced her hubby and explained that he had just started his own leccie business, he is excellent, we have used him on numerous occasions, lights, fans, rewiring, new exterior plug system etc.

On doing your own checks repairs on behalf of Mrs Greavsie, I am glad to see you are not "steamed up" or are you lol!

Welcome back fellow "petrol head" glad you had a good break, shame about not being revitalized, but maybe just maybe.

Mrs PY and myself are plodding along nicely, though she is hiding her fear of the bloody Pandemic excellently, thanks for asking.

I think I’ve calmed down now , and raring to go for the next game , when we dissect the the chavs and expose the flaws in Tuchels management skills .!!!!!!

Good to see Hod back ,, well done mate . Thanks for your thoughts about my wife . She is doing absolutely great , we both are .
She has a skin thing on the side of her nose that is giving us concern at the moment .
She forced through a virtual meeting with her doctor , posting a photo and having a consultation on the phone . He said she will have to live with it as the NHS doesn’t do cosmetic surgery .
As it seems to have got worse , and the nurses who come in to do her wound commented on it , she forced through another virtual meeting and he agreed to send her for a consultation with a skin specialist .
The worrying thing is ., this is the same doctor that said her stomach problems were down to eating too eating too much veg that we grew on the allotment .
We know how that ended up .

Bloody clever weather app that came with my iPhone is now giving a weather forecast for the road we live in , saying currently it is drizzling ( well , we know that , our windows can tell tell us that ! ...). but it will last for the next twenty minutes ! Now that’s handy .

As you may have seen , I haven’t done the predictor league , again , this week . It really hasn’t altered for the last three games , .

We have some of the finest football brains on the planet on this forum , but Jose is confounding the lot of us .
Each and everyone of knows how to beat Brighton , but we have to pay some bloke fifteen million pounds a year to engineer a way to not beat them .
It’s a bit like fifty years ago , when the world was a normal place and we could go about our business in relative peace.
Britannia ruled the waves , ....VAR didn’t rule the laws . Don’t get me going on that ....
We went to football matches and and got involved .
We saw someone on the other side handle the ball , Eleven players would appeal for it , forty thousand home supporters would appeal for it , in absolute unison and one bloke in black in the middle would say .... No .... play on.!
That’s how I feel now with Jose . Everyone can see the what is wrong but the bloke that matters just says . ..... No . ... play on .

Any how , I’m rambling again .
Ive got my jab tomorrow evening and can t wait .

Afternoon Walt, keep on rambling, we all love it and keep up going for a ramble, hand in hand, if that's what you do? Lol! I most certainly wish I could go for a ramble with Mrs PY, instead of rambling on about my beloved Spurs.

Weather is cloudy n overcast here, drops of rain at times, though must admit it is bloody warmer.

Went up the Ville this morning, veg shop delivery order, had an outside cup of char on the bench, naughty me lol! anyhow one of my Spurs oppo's came over and his exact words were, the first thing he said to me...what the fcuking hell is going on at Spurs? my reply was what do you effin think, to get Mourinio! in response, enough said.

Further on the Fan Heater saga, I bought for the conservatory, the bloody Ruffy Tuffy Bulldog, came straight out of there, wiv tail between legs, and the look of I do not like that, took us the rest of the day to get him back in there, bloody woose! Anyway switched the heater back on this morning, 1/2 hr later nice n warm, so mutt stuck his head in then jumped on his 2 seater settee, job done.

Because of what's going on I have not been able to get over to your neck of the woods, but when I can I will, look out for a Monster yank pick-up, Orange, cannot be missed.
