General Football thread

It is hard to disagree with this, in which Forest get a mention, the threat to Derby's goals conceded record is mentioned, but where the central thrust, that the Premier League brings misery to yo- yo and bottom end clubs, reflects how many on here have been saying:

Scores so far seem to be mocking us, but as always we just have to win some of our games.

Easily said...

Everton out of our reach and were never getting relegated

Title= anyone but Liverpool.

For them to lose it at Goodison would be a delight
Also - if Everton go into admin don't they get an automatic 10 point deduction?

In which case we could allow them to beat Liverpool...maybe.

Hull winning at Coventry - Philogene and Carvalho scoring.

I know some people don't rate our Carvalho (I thought he was great till he got injured in a pre-season friendly), but I reckon these two are worth considering, whether we stay up or not.

Sheffield United have set a new record for goals conceded in a 38 game season- currently 91.

They have four games to get to 100 and equal Swindon

Another penalty for Man U - what a surprise.

Of course, 'you only get penalties if you get into the box' (unless you're Forest in which case you still don't get them).

Someone pointed out that our tally of penalties awarded onfield this season is.....

0.
