Not sure why you place so much stall on “posters promises”. They’re not in a position to make promises either way. Neither do you or I, but that doesn’t stop us from offering our opinions or even to express faith in the management.

I have met him on a number of occasions when he’s given me lifts from the south west to the city ground and wouldn’t accept anything towards petrol. He’s also invited me into his home and shown excellent hospitality. Whatever spats you’ve had with him, I will speak as I find. You should let it go, especially as he isn’t here to defend himself. Poor form!
