Matt Derbyshire - Macarthur FC (Australia) to AEK Larnaca (Cyprus).

AEK Larnaca finished 5th in the Cypriot top division last season. Not sure if they have qualified for any 2021/22 European competitions - they have done sometimes in previous seasons.

I either didn't know or I've forgotten that he went to Australia. Didn't he go somewhere in Cyprus from Rotherham?
 
He played a few games for the Millers reserves too, some of which I saw . Thought he looked quite good. Another one through the revolving door.

Possibly on the move... or not...
Kevin Ellison (out of contract with Newport County ) played as a "Trialist" for them last night and scored against Chippenham in a friendly. (Clip on YouTube). He has just been interviewed on TalkSport Radio. He intends to carry on playing in the 2021/22 season , if not with Newport Co., then another club.

Thought he did well in his loan spell with us. Seems to have been around for ages, but is only 30 years old.

Just checked if they have qualified for any 2021/22 European competition, but Lge. of Ireland teams that have qualified are Richie Towell's Shamrock Rovers, Bohemians, Dundalk (who Towell also played for previously) and Sligo Rovers.

Jake Hastie - not a transfer exactly, but he is now in the Rangers "B" team squad, which plays in the Scottish Lowland League. Maybe we should try to get him back? (although unlikely if he is not up to Warney's "good person" standards). He was better than Jozefzoon (who has now been released by Derby County) .That goal at Sunderland was a thunderbolt!

... If he had put away that chance at Wembley, he may have had a completely different career. He was never really a sharpshooter though. Probably score against us if we get the Bantams in one of the cups ... :rolleyes:

Gradually working his way down the leagues... but almost certain to score against us, although probably not against anybody else :(
 
I can't decide if he just never got enough time to settle down with us or he's just not very good. As you say, Mike, he will probably score against us.
