Donation analysis

Plenty have donated 5grand now

Yes they have brilliantly, although they are either anonymous or non-players/staff!

Don’t think some random bloke would appreciate me using a picture of them from Facebook as my profile picture on an Internet forum! 😂

Willing to do anything though! 👀

Why keep naming people who donate just be happy it's coming in whether it £5 or £5,000 it's all relative to what you can afford - some people are struggling and give what they can !

I really don’t see the problem with naming players and staff that have donated, nor at any point have I criticised or judged the amount pledged by anybody. I’m fully aware of the circumstances, and of course every pound matters and every donation is equally as important regardless of size.

It’s only a bit of light-hearted fun! 🤷‍♂️😕

Seeing as my insomnia is running amok and as I'm fed up of with reading all the ups and downs of the takeover saga I thought I'd spend (what turned out to be a stupid amount of) time analysing where the "non-latics fans" donations have come from.

This is based on the donations I've been able to reasonably allocated to a club, based on the messages of support, there are loads more that are clearly not from Wigan fans, but I didn't have enough info to assign them to any particular clun.

I already suspected this put take a bow Charlton, absolute legends. This sort of support and solidarity will not be forgotten for generations.
Hats off as well to Fulham and Leeds as a whole and to some very hefty single pledges from individuals (Man City, Hamilton Accies, Spurs, Philadelphia Eagles !!!).

Makes you prod to be a part of the football community.

Disclaimer, These are the figures as at about 03:50 this morning, I don't claim they are exact, I'm bound to have made some mistakes, but I think it provides a reasonable representation.

Thank you to each and every person who has donated, no matter how large or small, We salute you.

Please don't be negative about any of the numbers, these are the peoplewho've actually made the effort to support us.

Sorry about the formatting, best I could manage.

Emeka Obi, Charlie Jolley, Scott Smith, Olly Crankshaw, all part of the U23s/18s ....... plus ex loaness Christain Walton & Dujon Sterling .......... then Kevin Sharpe, Barry Knowles .................... there's only Tommy Gore to go !

It says a lot for the club that it's attracted such a reaction from players - both young and old, ex and current.

Gonna tneed a bigger board to list all these folk out ! Well done lads.

Well after having a cardboard cut out of Fred West next to mine I've now seem a donation from Shamima Begu just above one of mine.
Never ceases to amaze me our fan base.

There are so many donations coming in that there's no way I can keep on top of this, which is absolutely fantastic.

As at 08:17 this morning, there had been donations from fans of a further 22 teams since my original analysis the day before.

Spurs and Chelsea numbers have jumped almost certainly due to the Defoe / Reece James effect.

Charlton, Fulham and Leeds (hmm, might have to change my opinion on these lot) are simply awesome.

Special mention for
"Good luck from a Blackpool fan ??" £250
"Cheers and best of luck from ATLUTD (Atlanta Utd) supporter!" £250

Table is too big to display in full now, thanks to everyone whose donated, top 20 now looks as follows:

Charlton 70 £1166
Fulham 31 £457
Leeds 29 £340
Liverpool 16 £285
Chelsea 16 £255
Spurs 15 £394
Everton 12 £220
Man Utd 9 £225
Villa 9 £110
Arsenal 6 £70
Sunderland 5 £90
Millwall 5 £70
Norwich 5 £65
Bury 5 £50
Stoke 5 £48
Bolton 5 £42
Man City 4 £310
West Brom 4 £51
Blackpool 3 £280
Nottm Forest 3 £65
