As per Russ' suggestion, if anyone has any views they'd like to air on the above, please feel free to comment!

Liked the samples from bibs n ribs especially the fresh soup and would buy there products if there again providing portions are bigger and not over priced like they are inside the ground @ £3 is ok.

General feedback I’ve picked up and seen is that after the initial surprise at the consistently large the catering generally has got its act together well and pop up catering attractive for local businesses.

Thanks for the feedback so far...we will pass on the comments and I believe Ribs n Bibs will be returning to the fanzone in the near future. There are other initiatives also likely in the coming weeks.

The foot long (proper) sausage is well priced at £3 unlike the £2.50 for a small portion of chips inside the ground.

get the hog roast onsite and we might make it into the stands by half time.

all good from saturday last ribs n bibs-----top tastes

If Meat and Potato pies can join the Chicken Balti in returning to SB, then that'd be ideal as well!

Due to how busy the bar is before the game, I have in the past two or three matches, got there quite early had a beer, then gone into the ground a bit earlier than usual.

Have purchased a coffee and caramel shortbread slice from the 'Coffee Caddy' van and have found this to be pretty good. The coffee actually tastes like coffee instead of just bearing a vague resemblance to coffee. I consider myself a bit of an expert on caramel shortbread slices and these are pretty good.

Shona and I purchased the a portion each of the chips at Mansfield from one the big catering vans near to the JIC bit before the Mansfield game and thought they were a good portion of chips if maybe a little expensive.
Nice to be able to get chips again after years of not being to get them.

I think with the increase in attendances we should definitely be putting it out to tender or getting a better deal from MMs. We are in a strong position compared to what we would have got when the contract was agreed. If love us to take it in-house but can appreciate we aren't specialists in catering and that there are certain restrictions (stock sell-by dates etc) that would make it difficult for us to handle, whereas a caterer can use up unsold stock through the week. Additionally a catering company should theoretically be able to get better prices due to the economies of scale of purchasing for a large company.

If like to see more local produce used, supporting local farmers/butchers/breweries etc and giving a more diverse offering. Doesn't necessarily need to mean a bigger menu, just cut some of the crap stuff to make room.

At the other end of the spectrum, but Bournemouth tried similar at the back end of last season and allowed fans to order before getting to the ground or during the game from their phones.

One minor moan-when customers order tea or coffee, please don't fill the cup to the brim-leave a reasonable gap so milk and sugar can be added if required.

Hear, hear, and especially NOT the hot chocolate which becomes tasetless when filled above the two-thirds mark!
