Brummies

Couldn’t make today unfortunately and didn’t see it, but I’ve said after the first three matches there has been plenty fight, effort and commitment. Playing away with ten for virtually the entirety of the game and coming away with a win and clean sheet suggests it’s been business as usual in that regard. Leam often gets criticism over his substitutions but it appears he got them all spot on today with contributions from the lot.

Fantastic result and that away end must have been buzzing. Brilliant to have big Charlie back, with an assist to boot, and I suspect that away changing room will be equally as buzzing.

Blues fans' take on it

'Wigan can get in the sea honestly. Horrible town, nonsense people'

'Mate, they had 10 men for 80minutes.....and it's f**king Wigan!!'

Has anybody let them know that they are utter shite with a rancid old stadium. They seem to have the 'we live in a city so we are entitled' mentality.

Garbage, nothing club who will be behind Solihul Moors in the midlands pecking order in a few years.

That's a hell of a performance with 10 men away from home. The team would definitely have targeted this game before kick off as an early season 6 pointer but kudos to them for doing it the way they did.

Great battling performance from the whole team, fighting for every ball n never gave up. Superb reception for Wyke when he came on & excellent with his assist. Few nervy moments near the end but some good saves from JJ. Brilliant 3 points and bodes well for the season...Great support and atmosphere from the travelling Tics...hopefully a clear run back up the M6
