BoRis has already ruled out chlorinated chicken, though I guess all the UK tourists who go to the USA eat it. The USA are doing a bit of sabre rattling, but it's highly unlikely a trade deal with them will fail over Huawei. There are circa 200 countries in the world, and of the largest 20 only one is in the EU. If we don't get a deal with the USA, there are plenty of other fish in the sea.
Boris has done no such thing; in fact, he last week lambasted people who criticise American food standards.

And even if he did rule it out, when Boris says it that doesn't rule it out at all

its noticeable how the tories have changed their tone on chlorine washed chicken, trying to put the emphasis on chlorine being safe rather than the actual issue of animal abuse

I'd have thought "quisling" is more appropriate for someone who claims to be a socialist but supports EU Thatcher/Reagan capitalism/neoliberalism/corporatism
hmmm, i think that award goes to brexiteers who vote tory. the hypocricy there beats all the others id say.
you reds, direby losing

HS2 ... Thoughts? I'd rather the £100b be spent on local regional transport schemes to be honest. Would HS2 benefit Nottingham or the East Midlands at all? It sure won't help us here in Wales that's for sure

So De Pfeffl has admitted to doing Cocaine
Was not born in this country
His grandparents are Turkish and his Father?
Yet he wants to push through deportation of people of the Windrush generation?

It's like Shity Patel her parents got kicked out of Uganda and came to this country as refugees
Dominic Raab the child of a family that had family members in concentration camps

How do these people live with themselves

Cold. Hard. Ca$h.

Any idea who is to blame for everythijg going wrong now?

Is it still Labour/remain elite (because 16.1m people can be an elite while 17.4m are a hard working, salt of the earth ordinary working man)?

Or is it just the nasty EU now?

Deportation of the Windrush generation ? Lots of despicable decisions by the Tories over Windrush, but this is the deportation of criminals on the basis of a Labour Government Law, voted for by Corbyn, Abbott and Lammy.

From the Telegraph

Should people who are not British citizens and commit crimes be allowed to stay in the country or should they be deported? Most people would agree that they should be kicked out. In fact, the law says as much.

Under the UK Borders Act 2007, the Home Secretary must make a deportation order in respect of “foreign criminals” defined as a person who is not a British citizen and is sentenced to a period of imprisonment of 12 months or more. The only caveat is where removal would contravene the UK’s obligations under the Refugee and Human Rights Conventions.

It can be seen that this measure was passed by the last Labour government. Among the MPs supporting its Second Reading were Jeremy Corbyn, Diane Abbott and David Lammy, who was in the government at the time. Yet they were in full cry yesterday denouncing the Home Office deportation to Jamaica of 50 people who have fallen foul of this law.

Their objections have been framed within the context of the scandalous treatment of the so-called Windrush generation, immigrants who had been here since childhood but were threatened with removal despite having done nothing wrong. But this is a false comparison. Under Labour’s law, the deportation is automatic whatever the offender’s nationality.

Corbyn was making a larger point, the difference in sentencing depending on the type of drug and the colour of a person's skin. Unsurprised it passed over your head...

Not commented on what Corbyn said. Neither did the post I was quoting. Yet another post aimed at the poster rather than the topic. Guess I can leave you all to revel in what you can find that goes wrong. In 5 years time there will be an election, but for better or worse Brexit has now happened, so it's up to Boris to sort it out. At least now we have directly elected responsibilty.
