Bolton

I'm not being aggressive. I. Am. NOT.

Bury played 46 games in the season with a team they couldn't afford. If the league table is to be amended, there is only one way to do it: void all of Bury's results. If you did, Mansfield would not finish in an auto promotion spot - FGR would.
I concur with this otherwise you are just fiddling around and guessing that Bury might have lost a few more games than they did but also they might not.

I believe the rules merely say that failing to fulfil a fixture constitutes "Misconduct"

Which constitutes a *very* broad church indeed. Possible actions arising from that are in Section 92. Which basically say anything or nothing can be done

84 The League’s Disciplinary Powers

84.1 The League has the power to bring disciplinary proceedings for misconduct against any Club, Official, Player and/or any other individual subject to these Regulations by:

84.1.1 imposing a fixed penalty in accordance with the provisions of Regulation 87;

84.1.2 referring the matter to a Disciplinary Commission appointed under Regulation 89; or

84.1.3 referring the matter to the Football Association in accordance with Regulation 88.

84.2 The same facts or matters may constitute a breach of more than one Article, Regulation, order, requirement, direction or instruction referred to above. The League may bring a charge or such charges as it sees fit.

84.1.1 - easy option 12pts. Done.
84.1.2 - slope shoulders. EFL delegates decision
84.1.3 - slope other shoulder. EFL delegates decision
84.2. - Vague and nothingness.

The whole integrity of the management of the EFL is being tested and if they don't stand up to this they risk being a walk-over to teams like Bolton? Utterly ridic.
I have no sympathy. You started the season, you finish it with the players you have. If they aren't up to it, YP. Your problem.

Should have to play it, at a time set by the EFL. Next Tuesday - neither team in the Carabao. Still don't know why it can't be played today.
Decide the league on the pitch, not in a meeting, but massive points deductions.

You clearly are still not taking the welfare of the players seriously are you.
Bolton cannot play night, midweek matches how the hell are they going to have time to learn their spellings, have bath time , get their uniform ready for the next day and have bedtime stories.
Honestly what do you think they are, professionals ?

Cracking post Clanford!

Yes, Notlob seem to have thrown all their toys out of the pram on this subject!.
Have Social Services been brought in?.
Will there be a telethon for them on Channel 4?
Watch out ' Trotters!' about, as Del boy would sing. Thinking of that is there a charity single in there for them?

Also wondering if there's an issue with the club's Lollipop Lady who should be there to escort the players across the road to the training ground or maybe there is no one to look after them at playtime ?

I think back 40 years clanfordimp when a young impressionable Imp made his debut at Swindon, only to lose 0-6. 4 days later they lost 1-5, and a week later 1-4 ...... where was the lovely cuddly EFL then? ?

Are they allowed to sign players on non contract terms?

Is there anything stopping them from going out on the street and picking 11 guys and saying could you play for us tonight?

That second link headline confuses me slightly. Been a long day though.

Bassini seems to be saying, let me pay money into a club on the basis that my court case in September will allow me to take over the club, even though the administrators have chosen someone else to deal with and everyone in football thinks that a discredited crook taking over Bolton won't be the answer to anything.

I'm a knight in shining armour, all Bolton fans should love and adore me. I'm definitely not in this for my own personal gratification with little or no thought to what is actually best for the club and its supporters. Love me, love me, love me.
