Bolton

This is the third time in a year; St Mirren and Chester friendlies and Brentford in the Championship. I assume the EFL will turn a blind eye to it yet again as they still havent bothered to punish them for not turning up for the Brentford game.

Things are looking pretty bleak at Bolton only 7 players on the books, no friendlies played yet and no season tickets issued, just wonder if they might request that there first couple of matches are re arranged just to give them chance to get up and running once the takeover happens??

Yes, let's bend over backwards for them.

Does Supporter's Direct or whatever they used to be called still exist?

About time some concerted fan-pressure was brought to bear on the EFL.

If they are still around, I would rather to pay on the gate at their place in April than risk buying a ticket.

Gordon Taylor just been on Talksport - 'there's a good chance this club will cease to exist in the near future'.

So the people taking over Bolton want a PFA handout because the players are demanding their arrears paid in full whereas the prospective new owners would rather pay the arrears in instalments so they can keep some money back for new signings.
FFS you *iss taking b******* just pay what is owed and if your only remaining finances means you have to sign free transfers from National League North then tough. They are already trying to gain a financial advantage and they haven't even taken over the club. So EFL, for once stand up to them and whilst you are at it smack them with the further points deduction due to them that NOBODY outside Bolton has forgotten about since they failed to turn up against Brentford. Yes EFL I'm looking at you.

this from football ventures, one reason they became the preferred bidder:
"They were also able to show the viability of a minimum two-year business plan for the club which was of the utmost importance."

now they need a handout before the take over is even off the ground.
they don't sound very flush with cash.

Sounds like they did not get there D.A.R.E.O (Dependencies, Assumptions, Risks, Exclusions and Opportunities) correct then, in that they assumed that players and staff owed money would take it in staged payments instead of a lump sum, so not in the cash flow.

£2.75 million. why would they assume? why would they not communicate with the players or a representative of the players?

if they are going to assume on an issue like this, it makes you wonder how detailed any of their thinking is. or how interested they are in people, rather than just numbers.

Even worse, FV are apparently counting on a club and hotel deal. The administrators for the hotel are apparently "6 weeks away from a sale"
