My mate and I were talking this morning about the fact that our bowlers did their job yesterday but will our batsmen come out and play test cricket or swing and prod like a T20. We got our answer.

Stokes really was embarrassing. It was almost a wide so why put your bat out there is beyond me. Can we post a decent score now at 34-4 ? It'll need a big partnership.

overs 50-80 are when to score a few.
if only we could stick around long enough to tire their 3 quick bowlers.

as mentioned on air, sometimes the ball can move too much [like yesterday]
good bowlers only need the ball to move a little to make batting v difficult. [like today]

yes, amazing he top scored with 12. says quite a bit about the rest, i suppose. i thought he struggled badly, ball was either being missed, or flying off the inside edge.
