With living in the Teesside area, we used to pretty much alternate visits to Hartlepool (North) and Saltburn/Redcar (South), but since we moved up to County Durham we have just been going over to Hartlepool if we want to visit the coast.Been on the Scarborough one lots of times, but can't tell you how it works!
