I worked through lock down but didn’t feel worried with that even though I did catch it but I did have to go to A&E once to pick mrs B up from there I wasn’t happy about her being in there or me going but I needed to get her out asap but a lot of nhs workers went into the hospitals day in day out putting themselves in the firing line and quite a few lost their lives now I’m not belittling the shelf fillers or delivery drivers but they weren’t exposed to the virus on a daily basis as I wasn’t myself but many nhs staff were and for me that was bravery I wouldn’t have wanted to go in there knowing I could take it back to my loved ones at any time

Don't apologise Chippy as Captain Nathan Brittles(She wore a Yellow Ribbon) said it's a sign of weakness.:giggle: I vote Labour only because i can't stand the tories,i'll never vote for something or someone i can't stand and when Labour phoned to see if i was voting for them in the last election that is what i told them mi owd pal.UTB

I don't do hate very often(rapists,terrorists etc; apart) mi owd pal,life's way too short.I'm not really bothered if it catches on or not to be truthful Chippy it's the way i vote and we all have the right to vote(or not vote)how we want and as i've said a few times on here i will never fall out over bleeding politics whether on here or when i speak to folk face to face.UTB

I'd noticed that the large opticians and chemists were getting involved back in early 2019. There was even an ex nurse near us who set up her own syringe at home service.

I've never had any issues with my ears but my Mrs needs to have her ears sorted 2-3 times a year because her ear holes are so tiny. She obviously couldn't get them done during the first Covid wave and so was virtually deaf for months. Subtitles on the TV etc. We tried all the olive oil and various Otex treatments but nothing would work, I even bought an irrigation kit off Amazon so I could do it for her but she was too nervous to let me use it. Fortunately our surgery resumed the service after the first wave and she managed to get them sorted but it changes her mentally and physically when they're blocked. I wish the feckers that make these decisions had to live with it themselves. All this talk about mental health and the £millions spent on drug addiction and yet tens of thousands of older people could lose all their confidence over this 'decision' which costs the NHS comparatively peanuts.

The former Tory Health minister Jeremy Hunt started this type of thing In 2010. it’s a sneaky way to get privatisation into the NHS. Big announcement to come in Parliament this week about further NHS privatisation 🤭
 
Where are the 40 new hospitals promised? Where is the £ 350 million per week promised for the NHS on the big red bus? Where are the 50,000 new police recruits promised? Where are the farm workers 🤭 Where are the Lorry drivers?

These incompetent fools promised in the last election the NHS was safe in their hands. Brexit would get over £360 million a week for the NHS remember the big red bus. Look at this that I’m posting!
