Correct, the Swindon top of the league game must've been around that time as well!5 at Barnet then 7 at home but I thought it was Rochdale not Swindon

Yes faulty memory there Sorry. That was 11-1, Graver got six.
I remember Crewe conceding 13, losing 13-2 against Spurs in FA cup.
Jez's guiness allowance money well spendWhat above a s
And what about a shout out for Jez for spotting Jack and Mandy?
My thoughts too, at times Cambridge moved the ball quickly and well - but we just steam rollered them, the number of times one of their players was hunted by down by packs of 3, the intensity was phenomenal.I know it sounds silly but I thought that Cambridge actually wasn't that awful. It's just us creating and scoring for fun at the moment.
Great performance. At times we were in total control which was very pleasing to see. I knew once they will try to go for it and leave us some space we might kill them which was exactly what happened.
Special mention to Moylan who started his Imps career with a proper bang.
Pure pleasure to watch this side at the moment. Great night.

His movement wasn't bad either. Put him in a side looking to play forward with purpose and with confidence and he looks the decent prospect he showed glimpses of in his hard but by many unappreciated work when he was basically the only fit striker we had.Makama played well when he had to come on. If you watch him closely he has some really good touches of the ball, whether it is holding it up or passing it straight on. I thought he was going to close down their goalkeeper a couple of times from what I think was a stupid kick-off?!?
Correct, that has been his skill set for quite some time. He looks better because we are no longer lumping it aimlessly in the general direction of a channel for him to run into, or towards him for a heading duel with nobody else within 20 yards of him - not his skill set.Makama played well when he had to come on. If you watch him closely he has some really good touches of the ball, whether it is holding it up or passing it straight on. I thought he was going to close down their goalkeeper a couple of times from what I think was a stupid kick-off?!?
Wishful thinking by some of the later posters (re consecutive games)Don't think we will have scored 11 goals in such a short time since we put 13 past Crewe 70-odd years ago.

I think we had Barnet (5) and Swindon (7) in consecutive games in 2006/07.
I've already shown my memory to be faulty but didn't we once put six past a star-studded Fulham in the old Second Division days?Wishful thinking by some of the later posters (re consecutive games)
