If our striker hadn’t gone for that we would be calling him lazy and it wasn’t a dangerous challenge, it’s still a contact sportRather than post that, explain why.
There are clearly parts of his game he needs to work on, but rather than go out on loan to learn and build confidence, he's had to be thrown in at the deep end because we have no other options. We have nothing up front, JM is a young lad but way off in my opinion. Has he ever won a header in the last 3 games?
Is it? TJ got booked for winning the ball.If our striker hadn’t gone for that we would be calling him lazy and it wasn’t a dangerous challenge, it’s still a contact sport
Odd. I thought he was one of our best players that half and caused their defence all sorts of problems. We have nothing up front, JM is a young lad but way off in my opinion. Has he ever won a header in the last 3 games?
I don’t know I just had a nice nap which I wouldn’t have had if it had been a decent attacking performance.I know we have injuries but this is the most boring uninspiring City team I have watched for years.
I'd agree- particularly in first 25 mins, caused their two CBs loads of problems.Odd. I thought he was one of our best players that half and caused their defence all sorts of problems.
Yep, you're not wrong. I wasn't just about today though but in general I would prefer to see more of Shodipo and less of Hakeeb.I don't think it's love for Adelakun but the most likely player to fit into the formation and plan for today. Quick wide player is great but pointless if we can't get numbers into the box.
Agree Jules. Jovon has played so lovely lay offs today. Seems much better on the ground than in the air, but because he’s a big lad the expectation is for him to be great in the airThere are clearly parts of his game he needs to work on, but rather than go out on loan to learn and build confidence, he's had to be thrown in at the deep end because we have no other options.
He clearly has potential (which I have said many times before).
Is this part of the driving theory test? No entry?Encouraging signs - discouaging signs
I thought similar- probably the best half since Cambridge awaySmall margins:
Mitchell should’ve at least hit the target rather than blazing over the bar, next minute he loses his man who heads home another simple set-piece.
That apart, the best first 45 mins by an Imps side I’ve seen in ages
