Whittaker seems like he'd be a great signing, in and around their first team squad, england u20 and played a bit at champ level already

Would make sense - Martin is a big fan of Lincoln and Mapp, and Whittaker came to Swansea from Derby so presumably is a Midlands lad. Scored a hattrick against Argyle in the League Cup and has been involved in the Swansea first team, so would be a bit of a coup.

Another article in the Swansea local press says "The Swans remain eager to sign off deals to bring free agent Olivier Ntcham and Southampton frontman Michael Obafemi to south Wales." Looks like they're trying to bring a few in, and they've loaned a striker out to Cheltenham already today.

It makes sense. Swansea looking to get both a striker in (Michael Obafemi from Southampton) and also a winger (Tariq Fosu from Brentford). Local media suggests both deals should get done, so if this is the one I'm hopeful it will get over the line. Seems the most likely and plausible option.
