I apologise in advance for this one. Tales from the Loop on Amazon. Disturbing, uncomfortable, challenging. Set I think in the late 1970s or early 80s. An underground scientific facility causes various phenomena in a small community. I like it but am disturbed by it , a bit like Black Mirror in that way.
