Jimmy McGill, what a character. I prefer this to Breaking Bad. Being a prequel the character cross over is intriguing. Mike , Hank, Gus etc. Addictive viewing, I have imposed a one episode a night restriction, too easy to binge it.

Glad this thread has started. Been looking for some recommendations.

I'm currently sitting here watching the 2nd episode of Cobra. Enjoyed it so far.

We started Breakin Bad last week. Need to take it in small doses because Skyler reminds me of my sister in law who is a first class bitch.

Edit: LEGENDARY bitch.

I am gonna rewatch the whole of Game of Thrones again plus sort out more of my vinyl records and clean and play them to check quality...reminisce on some of the great bands I have seen over the years. I have over 1200 lps and 600 plus 7 inchers to go through...will play them and copy them via a usb to my laptop and put favourites on my ipod etc /other devices,...will keep me out of trouble and hopefully alive!

Some of the Scandi stuff is worth a look such as The Bridge , The Rain, The Dark, The Killing, Wisting, Jordskott. If you can see past the subtitles and concentrate on the acting, it's pretty good and not so glossy as others.

Walter Presents is a video on demand service of UK's Channel 4, part of its All 4 online platform. Launched on 3 January 2016, it specialises in foreign language drama and comedy, with English subtitles. It is named after Walter Iuzzolino, who selects its content.

I have watched quite a number of these and some are excellent ...as someone said earlier if you can get past the subtitles usually the acting is very good and many of the plots are very interesting.

Our favorite binge watching shows:

-Big Bang Theory
-Justified - love that damn show
-The Office
-Archer - well she hates it..I love it.

great thread. currently watching or recently watched (and recommend):
The Foreigner (Jackie Chan meets IRA movie)
Messiah (Netflix series - outstanding)
Person Of Interest (Amazon Prime, all 5 series is 102 episodes)
Jack Ryan (series 1 & 2 Amazon - thought they'd be crass but a real hit at home)

So I finished all 6 episodes of Cobra in one sitting :-)

I must have been spoilt by the quality of some tv dramas because I didnt find Cobra that great. Thought the acting was a little accentuated, not very natural. Some good actors in the cast though. Particularly Dan the sheriff from Fortitude , Richard Dormer. Robert Carlisle has done better. I stuck with it and watched it all but it was borderline leave it for the missus fodder.
