Delighted, could be a gem of a signing, a real much needed goal poacher. The club have done well to get him considering all the other interest. Good business.

Presumably there will be a recall clause in there - Forest did recall him once from a season-long loan (Stevenage) to send him elsewhere (Port Vale).

Blimey the bloke hasn't kicked a ball for us yet. It would be great if at the end of the season we think he's the best (loan) signing the Cowley's have made. Don't forget he's not our player, and if he does well will probably want a crack with his home club next season. We'll see how it pans out, but on paper a good addition.

30 years since they won the FA cup. I'd say that's far enough in the past to be irrelevant to a potential signing.
Of course, they are traditionally a bigger club than us, but for the current generation the isn't that big!

Their claim to fame was they were in the first division for a very long time. Most of that time was spent escaping relegation and when it finally got them, they went back to exactly what they were before - a nothing club.

Honestly, the situation at Forest does not suggest that will happen. They're overflowing with players. If they do badly they will probably have a new manager by the time he returns, who will want their own signings. If they do well they will be in the Premier League, and they won't be wanting an L1 player whatever their record.

Huge squad and new manager with little interest in English players by the looks of it. Could go either way!
