Donny job up for grabs and now the Blackpool one too !

How is Danny doing in the longevity list now?
And who can he overtake next?

He should set a target of being number one in that list ???

Currently 14th.............2 places lower than Cooper at FGR who might need a good start this season
Others above him seem very settled in their jobs

So with Steve Bruce heading to Newcastle (and maybe before he can bring his Wednesday team to us), we may well have another club seeking a new manager.

And Danny will be right in their line of sight on Saturday !

According to their fans they are looking for a more seasoned manager at either Championship or Premier League level - Chris Hughton is one in the frame.

Watched a video interview with DC on YouTube a couple of nights ago and he said on there the like to go into a new team at the start of the summer as they did here and at Braintree.
Good interview too.

Danny is currently the 15th longest serving Manager out there (Prem & EFL)

Unbelievable Jeff

I think we all would love Danny to make it to number one in that list !
I'm sure he would see that as a fantastic achievement too.
Something only the likes of Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger can aspire to.

And Wenger is a more than apt comparison having himself come up through the non league ranks both as a player and manager back in his Alsatian days.

Looking at the current list several above him are well set in their jobs The likes of Howe at Bournemouth, Dyche at Burnley, Coleman at Accrington , Bentley at Morecambe are probably in as close to jobs for as long as you want it for a football manager.

Klopp, Pochettino, Wilder, Clough, Johnson ( Bristol City), Harris ( Millwall ) might move on but unlikely to be sacked unless they have a real mare of a season

He might squeeze up a couple of places if teams such as Colchester ( McGreal)
Wycombe ( Ainsworth) or FGR ( Cooper) have really bad starts but most teams with longer serving managers seem to have the more sensible boards

Indeed. Each place now harder to climb up but top ten maybe before end of season?
