Butterfly Bush - Proper name Buddleja ?.

I get quite panicky when i come across a wasp nest at work - i'm allergic to the sting.

Yes I think it is a Buddleja (or however you spell it, Digger!) I also have an allergic reaction to wasps - and I never learn and forget to carry piriton around with me. Although I find the syrup works quickest so can't really be dragging that around!

Yes - if i get stung on my wrist for instance , my whole arm swells up massively and it feels like a constant 'chinese burn' for about a week.
I have some tablets prescribed by my Doctor - they do seem to work.
I keep some at home , some in my camera bag, and some at work.

What worries me is in case i was to get stung on my neck (cos of the swelling)

Ohh, I'm not anywhere as bad as that, digger - it swells around the sting and often leaves scars and hurts! My lad once got stung on his neck and we had to take him to A&E as his neck swelled but was OK. He's either not been stung again or it's not affected him.
