Who are the candidates for our new manager..

It's easier to be ruthless when they aren't players you signed.

That ended up being Poch's weakness. Not many managers can be that ruthless now. It has too large an affect on the team.

The real key is making sure you sign the right players in the first place and our record in recent years has gotten worse and worse.

Managed squad turnover is key to sustained success. SAF was the master. City, RM and PSG do it as well.

Those are the operations we should be looking at.

We don't stand an earthly as we don't have the funds or the pulling power of the Euro heavyweights.

Hence why we need to sell Kane and Son.

Then we can get rid of the tripe like Gaz, Aurier, Doherty, Rose, Dier, Sissoko, Lamela.

Vinnie and Bale going back from their loans as well.

We have to generate our own funds which we have done time and time again over the last 20 years.

We don't have the funds or the pulling power to compete against these guys so we tend to buy at the bargain store. Well that's not entirely true, we have smashed our own transfer record by bringing in Lo Celso & Ndombele.

Another reason why I think getting Parker on board is a good move is because he is far more likely to stay longer even if he is a massive success. That was the issue hanging over Poch for so long - we had no idea if he was going to jump ship to a bigger job for a good few seasons. It was even his undoing in the end.

Give Parker a project. Even if he works miracles and wins a cup or two and consistently gets us within touching distance of PL titles, I don't think he'd get tempted. Childhood Spurs fan, a team he played for, even captained at times. That stability would be a great thing for this team.

The main problem will be Levy though. The bloke is dead set on getting Rodgers, who could be a bad move. My thoughts on Rodgers are, why leave Leicester and the great team you've worked hard to create? And worse yet, if he does leave Leicester to join us, he proves he would jump ship for a "bigger" job at the first opportunity.

Not exactly good for a project.
