Casual observation suggets footfall in Gillingham High Street very much back to normal. Online the big winner over the pandemic but "the high street" will not be hit evenly.

SE1 - Go to the West End with a car, you have to be mad. You could walk from where you live!

I will walk on my own but if I’ve got the rest of the tribe with me it takes too long and is too much hassle (lots of complaints).
