Went to Redhill, found out their game was cancelled, so went to Merstham instead, just north of Redhill. They had Barry Hayles as a sub, player/assistant manager! They were Isthmian Prem so not a bad standard at all.

God stuff, Trev. And Hales`s team won !

In a slightly related fact I went for a job interview in Merstham once, accepted verbally and then sat in m25 traffic for 5 hours on the way home. Had to squirm out of my acceptance the next day. Awkward.

Change of tv tac, American Utopia now on Sky Arts. Thank God Mrs Nobby is out, having a televisual treat today although I'll never take "going for a walk" for granted again. Going stir crazy

Took Mrs VG for her booster , and then to two supermarkets for shopping. Been home since 1pm , roll around gas fire on , its been grey , miserable and cold here today.

Spent yesterday sobering up after Friday's works do. Had to get up early as guy laying laminate flooring came at 8am. Watched five films yesterday!
