Vs Sunderland

Huddersfield Town away is on the Sky Sports app …which seems a bit odd
That is

We seem to be on alot in the championship more than when in the prem. Is that because we are small fry in the prem but seen as bigger in th efl

Sargent Is fit and back in the squad

Sara has been unwell during the week but should train tomorrow.

Rowe will play another u21 game on Monday. DW not going to rush him and we have loads of options in his position so they can take time with him.

Interesting that they are not looking to replace Russell as Hughes has been working on set pieces for the last few weeks....so AR basically been on his way out since DW came in. DW said they'll look in summer at coaching areas and reassess then.

DW says any egos that were here before have been removed since he arrived we are one...united.. it sounds like DS was running a shit show and players were not wanting to fight.

Again DW makes it sound like it was a joke under DS...'I don’t know what was happening before. He (onel) has been top class. We work on his fitness, so he can provide over three games in a week. He deserves all this praise.'

So Ds obviously not looking after onel fitness and probably not giving him the confidence.

DW and SW sitting down over international break to discuss the situation with contracts of dowell, pukki, Byram, sinani, McGovern, onel and I guess he'll also include the youngsters like McCracken.

DW doesn't want to talk much at all about AR. It doesn't sound like they parted ways on great terms.

Little nugget on set pieces DW says 'sure as a set piece coach you can have the best ideas in the world but if it isn't being executed on the pitch then we need to reassess. we need to be able to mix it up and do different things'

So maybe AR was stubborn in his coaching and was just trying the same thing over and over.

Dowell not expected back until end of April/start of May.

Byram now has no return date....he is obviously not close to being fit, placheta now looking at April.

So how'd you go?

Ref Tim Robinson
Ran us 3 times with 3 yellows and 1 red
Sunderland 4 times 6 yelllows and no reds
Averages 3.76 yellows per game in the Championship and 0.29 Reds over 21 games
Did our Luton away match on Boxing Day lost 2-1
Appears not to be one who gives penalties very often

Sky commentator saying that there is new speculation that pukki is leaving when his contract expires no matter where Norwich are next season... basically contract rejected
