Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester City - KO- 16:30 GMT Sunday 15th August 2021- Premier League Match Preview and MDT

:rofl:Talk about desperate…….fecking Tyler talking about City “failed to score in the CL final, they failed to score in the Community Shield”. FFS talk about stretching for a point. Two games months apart……

Sorry ……Mendy is a liability. Casual (very first touch got away from him) and then lost possession on the halfway line setting up a Spurs attack….FFS GET A GRIP

Is Benjamin Mendy actually paid to play as a defender? Because he seems singularly unfit for that role.

Tanganga with his FOURTH foul still only merits a ‘talking to”.

Right - lets run at him boys - he HAS to be booked For the next one

What the Fuck? How many final warnings does a player need?

TAnganga escapes a yellow card AGAIN.

You can bet the first player to be booked will be in sky blue.

Irrespective of the new ‘missive’ from the PGMOL about not penalising ‘trivial’ fouls the failure to book Tanganga is ridiculous.

5 fouls including the last one AFTER he had been warned by the referee should have had him yellow carded for the Persistent Foul Play. The new instruction is about not awarding Free kicks for minor offences BUT he had committed 5 fouls each of which had been penalised with a free kick. The leniency is misplaced and Anthony Taylor is implementing the new instruction in a completely incorrect way.

Let's calm down and stop worrying about whether the opposition should be booked and instead focus on our own failings, namely the missed chances. On this evidence we should break the bank to sign Kane, but yeah, a new left back or even an existing one (OZ11 come on down...) would be preferable. Early days but is Trippier still available?
