Ward-Prowse is a good player but seems a strange link to me, but maybe I'm just not used to the concept of strength in depth.
No, we aren't we look at a first 11 and can't get our heads around top clubs having 2 first teams, we need at least 18 first team players then the like of Chukwuemka and the Ramseys' Barry etc

I'm buzzing us being linked with players I don't have to fecking google, Argentina internationals and England Internationals, lets hope it continues in that vein

Ha, funny, told my dad the same earlier when I popped to visit them. So excited for once, as I know of/about/have watched Buendia. I don't know half the buggers were are linked with, short of a guick google and youtube search.

Really like the link to Ward-Prowse as well, still young enough to develop even further, has goals in him, great free kick, England international, PL experience.

What's not to like!

Villa are understood to be keen to bolster their midfield and Ward-Prowse’s set-piece prowess, in particular, would boost their attacking armoury.

Ward-Prowse’s eight league goals for Southampton last season included two superb free-kicks in a 4-3 win at Villa Park. He also claimed seven assists throughout the league campaign and scored his first goal for England in the 5-0 win over San Marino in March.

BREAKING: Sky sources: @AVFCOfficial reach agreement with tax authorities to stave off immediate threat of administration. #SSN

This headline was just 3 years ago today and here we are talking about spending over £30+m on one player, beating Arsenal to his signature in the process and links to another potentially big move for JWP...with the potential for a couple more in addition...we've come from the depths of despair to this in just 3 years! Thank the lord for the mighty Sawaris and Edens. What a time to be a Villan!

Days after Grealish in an interview said that it's great with England as their are free kick specialists to take advantage of him winning them we are in for Ward Prowse. Does that mean Grealish is inputting into the recruitment process and a signed up member of the project?
