The Ross McCormack Thread

Good decision. We have a bit of cash let remove the current burdens before we move on to the new players

Gutted to see Ross go. So much potential and would have scored for fun in the Premier League. He leaves a legend in my eyes and will be welcome back any time.

I mean good riddance you fat sweaty c&*t

Gutted?? - had based my clever plan for the next PL campaign around him. ?

Nah, you’ve already rumbled me! ?

Paid him out of his contract basically. Probabily not full amount but now he's a free agent.

His marriage broke down I believe, and it appears he can't fully deal with it. Turned to drink, slow spiral of death with a bunch of hangers on fuelling his demise.

My take for what it's worth. Another example of money can't buy happiness.

What's a variation agreement ?

Presumably, an alteration in his retention terms and the remuneration commensurate to that. So, we gain a saving on the projected salary he would have gained, had he stayed, against him having early access to the employment market as a free agent.

Overall the ‘Big Mac’ comes off well, but we slice off some of the wedge he would have ‘earned’.

Wonder if he has relinquished the salary increase he was due with promotion to the PL and maybe a tad more?
