The former Labour MP Jared O’Mara has been sanctioned by the House of Commons for an “abuse of power” and the sexual harassment of a former staffer, sending her “inappropriate messages and approaches”.

Its little wonder the world is in the state its in. You look at our lot, then Biden who I think is just to old, and because I am old I know the mind and body dont work like it should do. Then you have that twat Macron who I really hope to see gone next year just as long as he is not replaced by Marine Le Pen. You have Putin who has somehow managed to secure the job for life and its speculated he is now the wealthiest person on the planet. Then you look at all the trouble spots around the world where no one is actually in charge. The planet is in crisis yet so little is being done to actually tackle the global warming. I could go on but why bother, I am in my twilight years and wont be around long enough to see the Politicians who seem unable to deal with it completely cock it up.

I know the feeling mate.
I worry for my kids, but the way politics is structered there is very little you can do about it.

Businesses have been told to prioritise hiring UK-based workers rather than relying on labour from abroad to fix a shortage of lorry drivers.
Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng rejected calls from firms to loosen immigration rules, saying it would be a "short-term temporary solution".
