The Official Barrow Match Thread (Sponsored by the Longest Trip of the Season on a Tuesday night "for all your 656 mile round trip needs")

Not attractive but keep it as tight as possible until halftime.
We can play more expansive football later in the game.

We’ve been poor so far - maybe Barrow’s long rest has helped them, but we look slow and our ball retention is not good enough. Might be a game for Mahoney to commit their defenders and draw some fouls. Coleman and Dieng not offering enough for me, although maybe not their fault as they’re being overrun in midfield. And absolutely no way should Clark be 2v1 at the far post for their goal.

Pretty much a nothing game, we should be playing against 10 men and their goal was probably just offside.

Plenty of time to win it though, they're not a better side than us.

Didn’t like the slow passing between Ehmer and Morris and back to Ehmer and back to Morris etc etc - ok to do that if you are in the lead, but it was pretty negative at 0-0.
Barrow deservedly in front on the balance of play.

Nothing in it apart from a missed red card and a disappointing goal conceded.
Clemence to mastermind a second half comeback then.

We haven’t really got out of second gear.
Maybe tired legs and tired brains.
It’s games like this where the manager earns his corn.
Tactical subs ?
Change shape?
All in all, we’re playing ok but ok isn’t going to win this.
Someone has to take possession by the scruff of the neck.
