This isn't exactly a great highlights package but it at least gives you a sense of the sort of player he is. He looks very strong on the ball with good feet and good all round technique, he isn't a speedster but has a good change of direction in him and a little bit of acceleration and carries the ball well.

He's very good at turning with his back to goal. It's quite clear from the video the sorts of spaces he likes to occupy and where he likes to pick up the ball, generally turning out of tight spaces and looking for the through pass.

 
Think we will all find out why Emery wanted this kid. Looking forward to seeing what he can do here.
 
We are kind of stuffed then if ollie gets injured!
Emery has said Zaniolo will play up top if Watkins is injured. Maybe Rogers can fill in but it’s a big ask. Also play without a recognised striker is something he said he would consider, with Duran hopefully available for the last two months of the season at worst. In Emery we trust.
 
Looks like a Zaniolo Buendia type to me neither of which are wingers, despite people assuring me the Norfolk Messi was a winger.
