Team from the coast Vs Team on the beach

I really hope we can get Morrison and Chambers in permanently or on loan at least again, exactly the type of players we should be investing in and can only improve

I'd try and get Godo back as well, his early form was so good that I don't think now it's dropped a bit that he gets the credit he deserves. Always a threat for us and works hard to win the ball back.

How can you lot heap praise on a lazy useless lump that has given us nothing all season? He scores a goal that any decent striker would have back heeled in the net and all of a sudden he's the next George Best!

Mugs!

Any win away at the league champions. Is a good result. But they definitely was on the Beech today. Like when we played Barnsley at home under Caldwell. What we need to do is put a good performance at home against Bristol Rovers. No pressure. go out and try to score a few goals at home.

Fair enough but those same players have turned in one shite performance after another most of the season, who is to blame for this?

Being in L1 gets you 900k tv monet and about 700k solidarity payments next season.

Being in the Championship gets you about 8m TV money and 3m solidarity payments next season plus is worth a lot more in commercial and match day revenue.

Trying to be self sustainable is hard at any level but much harder with a much smaller revenue.
Totally agree, had we not paid stupid wages to old players, not good enough for The Championship, not only would we have stood a better chance last season but we wouldn't have made the huge financial losses.

You just have eto be sensible when going up, don't overpay wages on older past it players and look to bring in and develop young players to sell at a profit. We are going back to that route, which we had pre and during the Premier League days under Whelan that we shockingly abandoned when appointing Coyle. We did bring it back for a few years under Cook but admin onwards until Maloney the transfer policy was idiotic. Maloneys transfer dealings have been impressive.

If Chelsea had any scouts at our game today they’ll be after signing big Josh after how he took his chance. Nicholas Jackson can’t finish his tea and isn’t fit to lace Josh’s boots! 😂

Awful really. Could win 70 points in a.season where we started in admin, have blooded more academy lads than any in our history and not been able to pay a penny on a player. The man should be lauded yet some know nowts still wanna have a go.

We've had a lot of rubbish performances and results this season that deserved plenty of critasism. But today certainly wasn't one of them. They did themselves and us proud today.

It doesn't mean all of the previous awful performances are fine or we will definitely play well next week. But after such a frustrating season we should enjoy tonight as we haven't had that many enjoyable performances but that certainly was.

Hang on KDZ, a way, way too much of a balanced view there....can u not be a bit more controversial, ffs there's posters waiting to pounce on a wrong word or statement....😉🤔😂

Another great Away win, i hope the way we played in the last two games are a shape of things to come next Season.

7 pts from 3 away games on the bounce is some achievement,
now this Season is nearly over, it's time to look forward to the future and now that we have 'stability' with Mr Danson as our owner the days of
'boom and bust' are over.

That does Not mean the Club has no ambition,
Danson knows that in L1 there is not a lot of money to be made
and the Club cannot 'Stagnate' in this League in the long term,
so, it's in Danson's interest to get us Promoted ASAP without throwing
'daft' £Millions at it.

It's absolutely insane to think that the squad we had in the Championship was costing us something like 15m in wages. That's more than Cooke's Championship squads that had Moore, Morsy, Burn, Powell, Robinson, Byrne, Williams, Kipre, etc.

If we went up again with competent leadership I think we'd spend less but have a better squad.

If we are being fair, we should be critical when they are poor and praise them when they are good.

Magennis played well today.
Magennis played well today?

You are taking happy clapping to a new level now pal, the useless get played around half an hour and scored, he didn't play well but it was an improvement on what we've been accustomed to.

Would you give him a new contract based on that half hour?
