Steve Lovell

Just been told that Lovell has walked. Not sure how true it is, but not surprised if it is true.

Are you on crack?

Have a look at SE managerial record and the level he managed at?

Your personal dislike of SE is clouding the facts.

Disagreement is healthy, but assertions have to be substantiated. Seasons 1 and 2 under BFSE surpassed everyone’s realistic expectations. One person responsible for that: BFSE. Kettners, I know you dislike him because Garmston was sidelined (BTW - whatever happened to him?!?) but pull it together man!

Year 3 has been a disaster. Again, BFSE shoulders some of the blame. There were mitigating circumstances with COVID and injuries but we were usually competitive.

B*ll*x. I know you were going to invest those winnings in Trashy’s scheme as well. You did put £10k on at 25/1 didn’t you?

Strictly low stakes me. A lovell win already assigned to covering half a weeks ski pass.

No way would I invest even if I had the money. This board argues black is white, no chance of us running a club lol

I’m looking at when Lovell managed us - look I know he’s not the answer but he didn’t put us in this position

Trashbat my personal dislike for evans has nothing to do with Garmston - and tbf evans changed the team around and it did ok - but I knows it would end like this and my dislike comes from the fact he has zero integrity no morals he is a complete bully and his coaching is poor. His ego is so big I’m surprised he gets into the stadium. He is piss poor as a bloke and he has ruined us and yes maybe scally should take some blame in this.
plus the fact he has a very average record and just bluffs his way around . But if scally walks then what ?

You know what also irks me .. that he was even prepared to to talk to Stevenage earlier in the season because he was having a tough time and perhaps scally wasn’t prepared to give him any more money to prop up his merry go round circus

I had a cursory glance on Twitter at what's being said about the manager situation this morning. There are lots of rumours - all of which should be treated with a pinch of salt - but the more credible ones (which is still speculation, I should add) are KentSportsNews which said that it understands that Lovell has walked, but Harris could be appointed today and Alex Crook, from Talksport who seems to specialise in transfer rumours and the like, who said that he's "excepting" Harris to be appointed today.

Keep up ST 😁

Think it’s all in the transfer deadline day thread, talk about Harris. And maybe player(s) coming with him . Ben Thompson been mentioned.

A few sources on Twitter saying all this.

Would be an eyebrow-raising appointment, even if only to the end of the season. Get some decent money in from Dempsey and/or Tucker (and early today) and I’ll be a lot more positive for the future.

😀

He's changed the tweet to "expecting" now

looking solely at statistics, Lovell had a better win % from his time as permanent manager that Evans did.

out of the last 5 permanent managers Evans came fourth between Lovell and Pennock.
