So, whadda we gonna moan abart?

'Ere Towngreen, if we're talking apologies, how bout you start by apologising for trying to suggest that the witness to the Barnard Castle trip was making it all up because of their political allegiance and their friendship with the ex MP? (I'll forget about you mentioning he was a teacher and a school governor, cos I've no idea what point you were trying to make there).

:whist:

OLFE, you should know that the USA is best at everything .......... and when they do "thick", they do it better than anywhere else.

Edit - apologies to any of our US fans over there ....... whether native or squatting. ;)

An apology ................... to Hampton:

When Keir Starmer became leader of the Labour party, the very next PMQs (and those thereafter) was in front of a sparsely populated HoC.

Accordingly, I gave Starmer credit for making the PM look amateurish at the despatch box. While I still believe that Starmer is an excellent questioner, I have to admit that watching the PM's performance in front of this committee, it seems that he's every bit as befuddled, confounded and ineffective when asked questions by any reasonably competent MP.

For him to say "I've been forbidden from announcing any more deadlines," is just utterly incredible. He's the PM. Only the Queen can tell him what to do!

Obviously, what he means is that he's had a bollocking for responding to Starmer' s provocation by committing to the revised tests target of 200k per day by the end of this month.

His lack of knowledge on much of the detail was frankly embarrassing,

Hampton, sorry mate. ...........I'm not saying you're right re Starmer, but maybe I was giving him too much credit for his performance against such a weak opponent.

I see Maitlis has publicly had her hands slapped by the bbc for lack of impartiality on the Cummings issue. In other news I’m hearing the Pope is catholic.

I’m also informed the Guardian is upset and running a story complaining of Twitters porn filters as it blocked a number of Cummings related hashtags. That they should complain about such a thing is just utterly ridiculous.

Oooh .....Fake(ish) news there MiW. It's not because of a lack of impartiality they've been admonished .......... just that they didn't explain the intro was editorial, and was a summary of what was coming...........thereby giving an appearance of not being impartial.

It was a cracking intro............. though not as good as Jonathan Pie's.

Key bit “we believe the introduction we broadcast did not meet our standards of due impartiality”. It was clearly intended to be that way and clear they had no interest in examining the accompanying evidence. In today’s parlance I think the word is busted.

Speaking of busted I note Alistair Campbell has been found breaking guidance today, days after his rant about DC. The lying little shit claims if he was in government he’d immediately resign, which given his history is frankly bollocks.

Yet when Tories Kuenssburg and Neil had to retract statements after they contained false information, the BBC didn't issue a similar statement.

Worrying when a Government is clearly plying pressure on a national broadcasting organisation supposed to be impartial. Kind of loses it's impartiality straight away.

No what is wrong is a supposed impartial national broadcasting organisation plying pressure on a government to sack its key advisors.

I can't keep up with you men on here. So many twists and turns. From the outside it does seem a lot like trial by press on this idiot. Thing is on doing his dastardly deed in March he must have surely thought he was doing nowt wrong. (In his head after reading the small print) As a fairly public figure he obviously must have known he would have been spotted whilst commuting his evil crimes.
Does anyone know why it has taken two months for his treacherous deeds to hit the press and why at this particular time?
The press soon got hold of all the other idiots mixing in London parks in early virus days and reports showing thousands of more rule breakers since those early park frolicers have made front pages.
Now it's hitting the press that some people will deliberately flaunt the guidelines just because this bell end practiced the ancient art of bellendery two months ago.
Any normal minded people would just show common sense and distance themselves from others without the need for imitating one idiot by practicing bellendery and dipshittery there selves.

If that's an apology I would hate to see a rebuttal 😉🤣
TBF I think SKS having disappeared to feed carrots to his mum's donkeys is doing better by leaving the PM to his own devices rather than being "helpful"
I am also coming around to the fact that a crisp tenner (or contactless transfer) may be heading in your direction 🤣
Maybe you should have a double on Gove as next PM ? 😉

That'll be Laura (from a long line of Labour supporters and in the case of her dad doners) Kuenessberg would it ?
As for Neil IMO he's the best of the bunch or have you forgotten his empty chairing rant against the PM during the election as well ?

Frying pan .....fire ?

The thing with Gove is that though he's a devious, slimy shit, he's intelligent with it. Also, he has a track record in stabbing Johnson in the back.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if some of his interviews have been designed to undermine Johnson. Did you see the one with Ferrari, when he was trying to say that he's also driven to test his eyesight, then started laughing and had to retract fairly sharpish?

Thing is ..... there's no-one else.

Kuenssberg was in Johnson's pocket all during the election.........also, remember the "sources say" tweets when the Cummings story broke? Direct line to DC. No doubt on which side her bread's buttered.

As for Neil, it's hardly his fault if Johnson was too chickenshit to turn up for an interview. All the other leaders had had new one ripped ........ why shouldn't he do it to the empty chair.

He was challenged about it by journalists in April. However, he didn't/wouldn't respond, so I guess they had to build their case .................. no point going ahead with a story until they knew they had the relevant evidence.
;)

Would that be the car crash interview in which the then Labour leader refused three times to say sorry to the British Jewish Community.
Corbyn was utterly humiliated and exposed for what he represents.
Clearly a wise decision by Boris and his advisors in giving it a wide berth as we all know all know what the result was.

Like I said Towngreen ................ chickenshit. A leader who won't even present himself for interview prior to an election?........how pathetic.

Now look what we've got. His performance this afternoon was awful.
