Saluting Harry Kane

I haven't watched the game but has Southgate gone with 3 at the back? If so at least he has tried something different.
 
Kane wanted to play. 3 at the back is ok but it didn't really work that well. Stones was poor, Keane almost own goaled it.
 
Small club mentality.

Fergie would have ordered them all to pull out with "injuries", and rightly so.
 
I'm not a fan of the international games these days but if a player wants to play for their country what can you do?

Red nose was a one off and I doubt there will be another manager who has his authority. He was so influential players just did what he said.

I think Southgate should have rested Kane. But he will want a high win ratio so it makes his CV look better. ;-)

 
Southgate should have done whats best for kane. Looked at the situation. Kane plays almost every minute for spurs so southgate should have given him the night off. We had already qualified.
