Because I just read that next door their will be a concert Richard ashcroft at the Costa coffee stadium
I thought that danson now owned both codes in wigan be it football or rugby
But that two hat makes it sound like it is warriors only and footage only shows rugby players and no football players
Is this more of the rugby bull shit by danson and his cronies

Eh? If they're holding concerts next door, what's that got to do with Latics, and why would you expect to see footage of football (Tics) players?

Isn't this just green eyed jealousy Bicky. Would you expect warriors players to be in the footage if the concerts were to be held in the DW.

Both clubs owned by same owner, but that's it. No (official) linkage whatsoever.

Also, I'm sure the owner is very well aware which club/game offers more opportunities.

FFS Bicky ... the same man owns both. That's all. Other than that there's zero - that's ZERO - linkage between the clubs accounts ... and there never will be.

If Danson owns those ungrateful set of shithouses nowadays its a well done to him in having a fund raiser at the Athletics stadium.
Wouldnt you think he would have similar ideas to do the same for Latics but on a bigger scale at the DW considering that the running costs of the stadium are so high. Particularly so after the East stand FA Cup debacle in accomadating an extra 1000 away fans bringing in peanuts in football terms.
Now for something like that I would welcome a fixture change rather than some Egg chasing pre season friendly.

Robin Park is unfortunately theirs having had it handed to them for bugger all (allegedly). Difficulty with having concerts at DW is the time needed to relay the pitch in the summer

I dont recall any protest when DW opened a new JJB store somewhere in the UK
I dont recall any protest when Choi and his gang opened a new hotel or casino in Hong Kong
I dont recall any protest when Al Jasmi invested in some business in Bahrain.

Owners of business often own more than one business. Sometimes one of their Chief Execs will run events that have nothing to do with other business interests that the owner has. Its called diversifying and its why these owners are rich.

What MD chooses to do individually with his various business interests has no impact on another as they are separate entities.

While you’re on, how do you feel about the Mackems shifting season ticket holders to accommodate 6000 Geordies in an attempt to fill the stadium?

Oh yip the council and their obvious bias. How were they allowed to giveaway a public amenity? I knew they had spent a lot of public money renovating it for them. So after this did they actually give it away? Sounds a bit strange. Didnt lift a fingr in our hour of need.

Who didn't lift a finger ? It is documented in many places council leader David Molyneux played a major roll in stopping us going under.

Visiting fans are entitled to request up to 15% of the capacity and the SAG have recommended 6,000. At least having some of them in the upper and lower tier means anything thrown from above will land on their own kind.

Sunderland dont have a problem filling their stadium each home game with home fans and certainly wouldnt for this game, or even (dare I say it) a visit of Man Utd in the cup.

Remind me who owns the land the DW is built on and how much ground rent has been paid to the land owners since it was built.
