* Total number of weekly departures inflated by Sunderland and Bolton retained lists.
* Still no retained list from Bury in contravention of EFL rules. Still no anything from Bury for that matter (audited accounts, wages etc).
* Sixteen clubs have made at least one signing so far.
* Gillingham are signing Premier League players.
* Peterborough went a whole week without spending any money.
* Lincoln are the only club with no departures or arrivals.

Again not a transfer as such but Hull have made a formal approach for Donny's boss McCann. Might disrupt their preparations

Busy day in Portsmouth yesterday:
Matt Clarke left Portsmouth for £5mil. Plenty of money to spend there and they've already started, signing Paul Downing and Ellis Harrison.

Blackpool have signed Ben Tollitt from Tranmere.

Steve Morison goes to Shrewsbury

Josh Morris goes to Fleetwood

And Wimbledon have signed a PE teacher - that's crazy!! PE teachers can't hack it at real football surely?!?!?! Can't think of 2 examples where that has worked.
(Adam Roscow, also played for Cardiff Met Uni who got to Europe this season. Imagine those away days)

Posh are going big, aren't they?

Blackpool signings don't look great on the whole. Devitt fair enough, but Yussuf and Tollitt?

I doubt Felgate was. John Kennedy was a teacher, but I don't think of PE. He taught in Lincoln so I expect some people will remember.

Kennedy taught R.E. at city school, I was in his class one year and it was more a case of forget the bible, just tell us about the football.
