I always thought Taylor was number 2 to Clough?

Yes Cloughie appointed him as assistant manager at Hartlepool initially. I would see Henry as manager and Terry as assistant manager for this to work. MTerry’s ambition is to manage Chelsea, what better way to put him as a real contender for that to have great success at Villa?

But if we did have success with that combination, then Henry will be credited with most of it rather than Terry. It makes more sense to have one of them with an experienced assistant alongside them

I thought they were joint managers, certainly at Derby. Clough was the main man at Forest though, I agree.
