New Investors

Fantastic news, for the majority of my City supporting life it has been more hand to mouth and counting the gaps on the terraces or the red empty seats around the ground thinking if there is anyone left to be Chairman.

This is really positive news in adding value to what is already in place. These guys could take Lincolnshire Stuffed Chine to another level stateside. Lincolnshire Haslet in North Carolina bring it on !

Brilliant news, more investment. Do you think anyone who "invests" in Lincoln City expects any money back, is it even a gamble? If we made the championship would we make a profit? Why do people call it an investment? Surely its just buying something for fun, love and excitement or am I missing something. Anyway good news to have extra future investments from multiple parties is great.

I think a promotion to the Championship is more likely to result in falling over another cliff edge rather than a profit. Then again base jumping does look fun, even if it's not for the faint hearted.

I’m assuming we don’t know the amount of investment involved, not that I really have a great interest. What interests me more is the individual specialism/interest that each has to bring to the club 👏

"Investment" - the act of devoting time, energy and resources into a particular undertaking with the expectation of a worthwhile outcome.

Just depends on what you see as worthwhile outcome.

"Fun, love and excitement" can be a better outcome than an extra 0 on your bank balance.

Too much dragons den?

Exactly right. I think people assume the term 'investment' has to relate to a financial return on capital invested, but there are many more reasons why people do what they do with their money.

Wonder whether the share purchase from last week was that other guy or these three?

Either way, good to see further investment in the Club.

The latest file appeared on 8th February, and the previous article stated that the Jabara family had purchased more shares in February.

Only if you decided to jump off it i.e. the opposite of what Wycombe did who ran with more of a L1 type budget.

Interesting to note this season, and I'm not sure whether it's reflected in their accounts, that Rotherham and Blackpool didn't necessarily want to compete from a financial point of view but felt like they had to throw more money around just to stop being detached so much from the next biggest spender(s).

Would the financial investment come before or after the EFL Directors and Owners test? Purely a timing question, nothing else.

Pablo Webster is already listed as a director on the official site, so I imagine it is already sorted.

As the investment comes from their investment vehicle and not from the individuals themselves, I think they are entitled to one seat on the board - the OS shows that Pablo Webster has taken that position.

Isn't all of this interesting!
